Ink on Mylar

A series of experiments with a painting technique that does not involve a brush or brush strokes. The week-long process instead uses found materials, such as PVC pipes, as formwork for pouring the ink.

An Afghan Side Road

As a Lead Engineer for a US-led Reconstruction Team, Baker ventured with his team into the accessible areas in the mountain province of Panjshir, Afghanistan. The series of photos presented in the exhibition allowed viewers to step through the rugged terrain and witness the built form of the ancient Silk Road villages and their inhabitants.
