This exhibition documents its own making. We construe it as a study unfolding over the two-week period of the exhibition. The subject of our inquiry: measurement. Measurement is an exercise in comparison, communication, translation. To measure is to presuppose a certain contiguity between fields that are themselves immeasurable. There is a boldness to it. We are interested in the persistence of these measures, and in the shapes of dissonance arising from the difficulties of articulation.
